Dance Eurythmy Workshop in Athens / Greece
This workshop will introduce basic movements of eurythmy. Eurythmy (Greek: harmonious movement) was developed by Rudolf Steiner as a method of using movement to enhance experiences of connectedness with both the material and spiritual world. The movements are very fluid, and can have a healing effect. As an offering to the international Dance Day we will do circular dances that tune us into the choreograpies of the solar system and explore its influence on us. The workshop is taught by Stine Simonsen Puri from Denmark, who is trained in eurythmy and bharatanatyam and is a professor of anthropolgy.
